Legendary hockey player Guy Lafleur is back home following a short visit to the University of Montreal Hospital Center during the week.

The 70-year-old’s family said in a statement released through the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday.
“Guy continues his fight once morest cancer and he continues to be followed closely by his doctors”, can we read in the note, which specifies that the legend must go to the CHUM “from time to time for follow-ups of use”.
The last public outing of the “Blonde Demon” dates back to the end of October, when the QMJHL retired the number 4 he wore with the Quebec Remparts during his junior internship. He then said that he was playing “the match of his life”.
A year earlier, Mr. Lafleur had learned of the recurrence of his lung cancer.
The Lafleur family also thanked the supporters for the wave of love they show for the former hockey player.
