On Wednesday, Guy A. Lepage announced the death of his faithful companion, a toy poodle named Attack. The adorable pet shared the daily life of the Lepage family for no less than 17 years before dying “surrounded by his family”.

In a poignant message posted on his social networks, the host of Everybody talks regarding it shared memories of the “little wiggly brown ball” that changed his life in 2006. “Dogs didn’t interest me,” he recalls, admitting he soon developed a fondness for Attack.

“Attack the Dog (2006-2023)
In 2006, my girlfriend came home with a toy poodle. I am a cat guy. I like cats because they are independent and affectionate and that’s why my girlfriend says I’m an old tomcat.
Dogs didn’t interest me and I became a “trainer of cleanliness” of a little quivering brown ball that weighed a maximum of a kilo. Since I worked from home, the little ball wobbled on my thighs all day long and we quickly developed a loving relationship. In derision, we called it Attack, because it was completely harmless.
Attack became in turn my son Theo’s friend, who found time in his teenage schedule to play with him, then he curled up with little Béatrice, a newcomer to the house (2010) and he once once more accepted his demotion in the family pack when little Thomas appeared in turn (2014) and when the latter nearly died following a horrible bacterium, Attack slept by his bedside for several weeks to monitor it.
Attack has always been a member of the family and although he was unaware of it, he even became a cartoon character in the Baby Girl series. Sometimes we recognized him on the street: “Is he the famous Attaque?” ” Yes Madam !
In short, our old dog left us today, surrounded by his family, following 17 years of loyal service and restorative licks. He was half-blind, three-quarters deaf, and totally incontinent. Not to mention the abscesses exploding in his mouth and his chronic respiratory problems. It’s the end of his life as a dog. Our family is in mourning. Farewell brave companion. We won’t forget you.

Attack’s death has touched the Lepage family as well as many fans, family friends and well-known personalities who have shared their condolences on social media. We join them in wishing a lot of sweetness to the family.
