Sunhaji confirmed the upcoming recitation event to local media.
:Gus Miftah will be here on December 19, read ‘nji’,” he said on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024.

He emphasized days after the
incident on social media which sparked controversy and raised concerns about potential fallout, he and Gus Miftah have resolved the matter.

The invitation follows a viral video in which Gus Miftah jokingly teased Sunhaji during a public appearance at Drh Soepardi Field, Sawitan, in Magelang Regency on November 20th.
In the video, Gus Miftah questioned the availability of Sunhaji’s iced tea while addressing a large crowd.
