Gurman: We May Not See The Entry-Level iMac 27″ Again As Apple Is Focusing On The New iMac Pro
Gurman reveals Apple’s new iMac Pro focus may not have an entry-level iMac!
Gurman says Apple is focusing on the big-screen iMac, but it will be a Pro, not an entry-level model. So there is a possibility that the new big-screen iMac will be the high-spec iMac Pro rather than the 27-inch iMac with the same specs as the 24″ model, but with a bigger screen.
As for the launch, Gurman revealed that the new iMac Pro will be launched in May or June, with June likely, as Apple previously unveiled its first iMac Pro at WWDC in 2017.
In terms of specs, the iMac Pro is rumored to come with an upgraded M1 Max chip, a mini-LED display with 120Hz ProMotion support, and a Space Gray and Silver finish just like the MacBook Pro.
Apple has stopped selling the first-generation iMac Pro. The coming of the big-screen iMac will be the 27-inch iMac with an upgraded Apple Silicon chip or the new iMac Pro. Let’s wait to follow.
