MEMBER OF THE DPR RI from the Golkar faction, Dave Laksono, believes that the appointment of Tiktoker Gunawan Sadbor as an anti-online gambling ambassador is a good step. He believes that as long as Gunawan Sadbor uses his power on social media to convey anti-online gambling messages, it will have a positive impact on society.
“As long as it does have a positive impact and it can attract people. There are a lot of followers, there are hundreds of thousands, even millions. The audience is also wide. As long as he can continue to broadcast anti-judol messages, of course that is a good thing,” said Dave in Jakarta, Tuesday (12/11).
Previously, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo appointed Tiktoker Gunawan Sadbor as an anti-online gambling ambassador. It is known that Gunawan Sadbor was detained for promoting online gambling. Some time ago, Gunawan’s detention was suspended.
“Meanwhile, we are currently suspending Gunawan Sadbor and making him an ambassador for anti-online gambling,” said Listyo in a joint working meeting with Commission III of the DPR, Monday (11/11).
Listyo realized that the decision to appoint Sadbor as antijudol ambassador would raise questions. However, he believes that Sadbor will play a role in eradicating online gambling in the future.
“The point is, we make them aware of those who don’t understand, we make them ambassadors for the anti-gambling campaign. We use them to learn more about and develop who the people behind them are,” said Listyo.
Furthermore, Listyo said that the police previously arrested Sadbor to develop a case. From the results of the investigation, the police arrested two perpetrators who were marketing online gambling sites.
“From Gunawan’s Sadbor, we developed it and arrested 2 suspects as marketing givers of gifts to these influencers. Meanwhile, we are currently suspending Gunawan and making him a judol ambassador,” he said. (Faj/M-4)
