A fight between two Guinean compatriots turned to murder.
The tragedy occurred on Saturday, June 24, in the streets of unit 3 of Parcelles Assainies, located in the town of Golf Sud de Guédiawaye.

One of the antagonists named MA Sy was mortally wounded with a knife by a shoemaker named ML Seck. The latter had intervened to try to separate the two protagonists.
That day, reports Les Echos, MA Sy arrives in front of the place of business of his Guinean compatriot, lights a cigarette and begins to smoke. The tradesman rails strongly once morest the gesture of his parent who, according to him, smokes him out. He points this out to her and asks her to stop or move away from her fruit stall.

Sy turns a deaf ear and continues to shoot his cig angrily. His compatriot comes back to the charge and gives him severe reprimands. Without success.
An argument breaks out. The two men taunt each other, take each other by the collar and spit in the face of the enormities. Suddenly, they clash and exchange violent punches. Passers-by fall on the boxing scene, run up and separate the two antagonists.

With a more imposing size, Sy ruminates on his anger and swears to correct his Guinean compatriot who withdraws from the scene of the fight and joins his display selling fruit. Sy leaps from her seat, gets rid of the embrace of the speakers and rushes at him.
He is quickly intercepted by an ML Seck, shoemaker, who stands in his way. He also holds him vigorously in his arms and endeavors to calm him down. Sy organizes the resistance and struggles with all her might in the hands of the shoemaker. He rapes him, pushes him around and tries to escape.
The shoemaker holds firm and vehemently refuses to let go of MA Sy. But, in his mad attempt to extricate himself from the quagmire, he injured himself with the work tool (bladed weapon) of the shoemaker, who was holding the blunt object in question in his hand.
The shoemaker violently pricks the Guinean national in the chest in the region of the heart. Blood spurts out and begins to flow profusely. The injured person acknowledges the blow, screams in pain and holds the affected part with his hand. He loses blood, feels his strength abandoning him, becomes dizzy and collapses to the ground.
When questioned, he unfolds the horror film and admits to having unconsciously stabbed the Guinean national MA Sy with his cobbler’s work tool.
The defendant was presented, the day before yesterday, before the prosecution of the Pikine/Guédiawaye courthouse for involuntary bodily harm resulting in death without the intention of giving it.
