Guinea: the Impact Évent Foundation celebrates African women

July 31 of each year is celebrated as International African Women’s Day. On this occasion, the IMPACT Évent foundation organized this Monday, July 31, 2023, several panels on this day called “AFRICAN WOMEN’S IMPACT DAY ‘AWIDAY”.

During this day, several influential personalities from the entrepreneurial and socio-professional world shared their experience with the participants. Bintou Camara, president of the IMPACT Évent foundation, explains the main objective of this event: “Our goal in this project is to increase the impact of women in society and support the creation of innovative solutions for sustainable development that helps bring regarding positive change on the continent by improving the quality of life of tens of thousands of people. through conferences, discussion panels and sharing of experiences in order to serve as a model for all young girl leaders to promote female leadership and foster dynamic networking. »

Kadiza Bah, director of operations for Bluezones and panelist, believes that it is time for women to get more involved in promoting their country. For her, the governments of all countries have realized the crucial role of women and what they do every day to help society.. “We can’t rule it out. We don’t want to be the ones behind anymore, but rather the ones in front and maybe have men behind, ” she explained.

“At the end of this event and through our foundation that we have just created, we would like to contribute to improving the living conditions of young people in terms of entrepreneurship, participation and all activities. This is the place for us to salute the efforts of African women here because they have fought a lot to reach this level”, underlined Aly Bangoura, head of the said project.

This first edition of African’s WOMEN’S Impact Day (AWIDAY) intends to support 120 young African women entrepreneurs and leaders in their journey to impact the continent’s economy by implementing reliable programs.
