Your character Ben decides to resettle on the family estate, in the Camargue, following the death of his father. How do you describe this character?
Guillaume Labbé: Initially, he is the strictest and most serious of the group of friends. He hides behind his principles so as not to feel emotions that he cannot manage. With the reality of a sister who risks being placed, friends who are in financial difficulty, and this region, very beautiful, but economically complicated. He questions his value system.

When writing, what was emerging was a rivalry with the father, between a son who is insufficiently valued and loved, and a guy who arrives and seems to take his place. My character, Ben, envies her very free sexual side, while his own envies my romanticism and my passionate romantic relationships.
How did your group of actors prepare?
Often in television, and unlike theater, we don’t have enough preparation time. Which suits some actors who don’t like to rehearse… which was not the case here. On this series, it was vital to be able to meet before and live together during the two months of filming.
How does this series question our conception of masculinity?
It is part of a general evolution of morals and mentalities. But the series goes further because it addresses the theme of masculinity through the prism of female desire. That is to say, each request is different and surprising. Regarding male sexuality, several questions are touched upon, such as premature ejaculation or impotence. We finally find relevant discussions between men on screen! We were raised according to an archetype of performance that is still not lifted and which weighs on the development of some of us, as shown by the character of Zach, addicted to porn and completely lost in terms of his sexuality …
