Rapper Guf, who faced the possibility of criminal prosecution and the cancellation of his concert in Moscow, apologized for a video with a prayer in the background of a track promoting drugs. In the video he posted, the clergy prayed to the track “To Those Who Are With Us.”

“I sincerely apologize, I sincerely repent for posting this idiocy on the Internet. I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, especially Orthodox people,” Guf’s apology was conveyed by the Mash telegram channel. He stated that he did not know how to edit a video and found it on the Internet, but inadvertently published it, not anticipating the negative reaction of society.

The Investigative Committee will conduct an investigation into this incident to decide to what extent Guf’s actions qualify as an insult to the feelings of believers. In addition, his Moscow concert, scheduled for December 14, may be canceled, and the track “To Those Who Are With Us” itself may be banned due to suspicion of promoting drugs and justifying criminal behavior, as reported on the telegram channel.
