A Guayacitano died in a tragic accident involving a truck and a minivan. The event was recorded during the night of this Sunday in Pacaraima, Brazil.

The deceased was identified as Hichan Naim, who was traveling with his wife to the north of the state of Roraima.

The 48-year-old lady is admitted to the General Hospital of Roraima. Relatives declare that she underwent head surgery and that her condition is delicate.

Naim was a businessman, he was in charge of the Guayana Supermarket in the town and had a store in a shopping center in Brazil, called Roraima Garden Shopping.

The accident

The Federal Highway Police has not disclosed how the accident was caused or in which of the two vehicles the patients were traveling.

The Legal Medical Institute was presented on the site. Rescuers found Naim in the rubble on the road; Nursing technicians tried to revive him, but he did not resist the serious injuries he suffered and it is said that he died instantly.

His wife was helped by the Boa Vista Fire Department and was transferred to the General Hospital of Roraima.

Through social networks, Guayacitanos have expressed feeling dismayed by what happened, and send their words of support to Naim’s family.

“Hichan was a gentleman and a hardworking person. Despite the time without having contact with him, when crossing paths again he greeted you by name and with a smile. Very unfortunate it is lost. My deepest condolences to his relatives ”, was one of the messages published by his acquaintances.
