The therapeutic nutritionist added that guava is also characterized by its high content of dietary fiber, which helps control blood sugar and improve insulin sensitivity in the body, by slowing down the absorption of carbohydrates in the intestine.

He pointed to the ability of guava to lose excess weight, because its fiber contributes to a feeling of satiety and fullness for long hours, in addition to its low calories, as it contains 68 calories per 100 grams, according to the US Department of Agriculture.
