A group of women, presumably migrants, were traveling from Chihuahua to Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, in a car that provided a transfer service, which overturned at kilometer 204 on federal route 45 according to local press.
There were five people in the vehicle.
Mexican media reports that the Red Cross confirmed two fatalities at the scene, while three were seriously injured.
The Consulate General of Guatemala in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, informs that one of the five people involved in the accident reported on the highway is Guatemalan.
“One of the people treated was a 25-year-old woman of Guatemalan origin,” the institution said.

The Red Cross transferred a 26-year-old woman to the 66th clinical hospital; while the State Government Rescue Unit (URGE) displaced a second woman, aged 40.
The Government of Chihuahua, through the State Coordination of Civil Protection (CEPC), the State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) carried out a transfer operation by helicopter so that a minor of eight years of age might receive immediate attention in the Children’s Hospital of Ciudad Juarez.
