A Guatemalan mother and her 4-year-old daughter were murdered in the backyard of the house where they lived in the state of Florida, United States.
“Authorities found a woman dead in a pool of blood in the backyard. They also discovered the body of a girl inside the home,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said.
The victims were identified as Amalia Coc, 38, and Estella Coc, 4, who were originally from Sayaxché, Petén, in Guatemala.
According to local Florida media, both They left Tierra Blanca, Petén, approximately seven months ago, to improve their quality of life and entered the United States illegally.
The person responsible for this brutal murder was Angel Gabriel Cuz-ChocAmalia’s romantic partner, who following murdering both women fled to a forest near Summer Road in Dover.
However, hours later he was captured by local police and He was booked into the Falkenberg Road Jail in Tampa.

Within this enclosure, Cuz-Choc confessed to having killed Amalia Coc and her young daughter, as revealed by Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives.
Angel Gabriel Cuz-Choc, 31, faces two counts of first-degree murder and is currently awaiting further charges once morest him before his appearance in a court in this county.
