This Wednesday, April 3, one of the most anticipated matches of the current edition of the Concacaf Champions Cup will take place as Inter Miami, Lionel Messi’s club, and CF Monterrey, one of the most important teams in Mexico, They meet in the first leg of the quarterfinals.
The game will take place at Chase Stadium at 6 p.m. and recently Concacaf shared the referee appointments for all the duels corresponding to the quarterfinals and among the whistlers who will be the protagonists are several Guatemalans, as is the case of Walter López who will be in charge of Inter Miami vs Monterrey.
Lopez will be joined by Nicaraguan Keytzel Corrrales and Dominican Raymundo Feliz as assistants one and two; his countryman Bryan Lopez as fourth referee and in the VAR room will be Costa Ricans Ricardo Montero and Benjamín Pineda.
The two López will not be the only Guatemalans to have action in the quarterfinals of the Concacaf Champions Cup since Mario Escobar and Julio Luna will also have a task.
