Regional soccer team Oedt made an involuntary change of coach: As reported, the German women’s league team Potsdam was courting Kurt Russ. Now the 59-year-old has probably decided to move to Germany – and Oedt has already found a successor. “After the information from Kurt Russ, which was very surprising to us, that he would no longer be available with immediate effect, we managed to find a trainer in Alexander Zellhofer who, despite your young age, can look back on a lot of experience.” , explained Oedt managing director Alexander Gabriel.
The 30-year-old, son of long-time Pasching coach Georg Zellhofer, was most recently coach of Vienna, he led the Viennese from the city league to the 2nd league. Oedt still has five games on the schedule in the fall. Zellhofer will hardly need any time to get used to it: in spring 2018 he was assistant coach of the 1b team.
