A living space, made for leisure and for the conviviality of visitors. The environment signed by the architect Maria José Fraptini comprises no less than 550m². Distributed between an internal room, an external area and a beach tennis court, the place was definitely not created for contemplation, but for intense use: an opportunity to have fun amidst the bustle of the city.
Totally open to the outside area, the living and dining rooms, which add up to 40m², have practically no walls and even have a pergola that lets you see the sky. In the same type of slats, the wood that makes up the entrance to the place warms the environment. Connected to the court’s sand, the space named ‘Refugio’ has two glass walls that make it a continuation of the surroundings. On the floor, pieces of Bergamo Off White AC, measuring 120x120cm, maintain the feeling of unity.
In every living room, sofas, armchairs and leather ottomans provide the necessary comfort following a disputed match. All in solar tones, as the proposal suits! Under the pergola, highlighting the flexibility of the furniture chosen, a dining table, chairs and swing that mix marble, nautical rope and fabrics suitable for outdoor areas, allow for use in favorable or unfavorable weather conditions.
“The idea of the project was to develop a living space where everyone might take ownership of every corner of the environment. It’s all part of the same concept. Favorable places for everyone to interact and enjoy the environment as a whole”, says the architect.
