Game News GTA 6: The announcement of the new episode does not only make people happy
After years of speculation, it’s done! Rockstar Games has finally formalized the development of Grand Theft Auto 6 and took the opportunity to report the smooth running of the latter. Suffice to say that since yesterday, discussions have been going well as to the expectations raised by this new component. However, not everyone has this license in their hearts and some players were quick to express their disappointment. Especially fans of other games from the studio.
As expected, the announcement of Grand Theft Auto VI triggered a wave of reactions on social networks. Which town ? What characters? What gameplay mechanics? What scenario? For a few hours, Internet users have been discussing (and getting angry for some) regarding the future arrival of this sixth episode. It must be said that time has passed since 2013 and that players, for the vast majority, want to move on. Even if Rockstar has confirmed the arrival, from March 15, of a Grand Theft Auto Von next-gen consoles, the studio is now looking to the future and we’re not going to complain regarding it.
SOME DISAPPOINTED FANS
Only here, this announcement does not only make people happy! By learning of the start of construction – apparently well advanced – of GTA 6, fans of Bully, but also those of Max Payne or The black, understood that this title was going to occupy almost all of Rockstar’s studios (if not all). In other words, it’s not immediately that we will see a Bully 2, a Max Payne 4, an LA Noire 2 or, let’s be crazy, a Table Tennis 2!
Going around the web, we can thus see various reactions to this formalization of GTA 6. If some understand the excitement that arises from this announcement, they are also likely to regret that the publisher did not take the opportunity to announce other titles in parallel. Players believe that Rockstar has always been a bit visionary and that it’s a shame that technologies as crazy as LA Noire’s MotionScan, which uses 32 high-definition cameras to capture movement (without using a special combination), never resulted in a sequel. Same topo for those who would like the return of Bully and Max Payne. For Bully, this is all the more true since recent rumors have however reported a possible remake or sequel.
As a great journalist from a famous video game magazine said, ” That’s how it is, that’s life. » Hopefully, for those folks waiting for games other than GTA, Rockstar is looking beyond its golden goose.
