Rockstar is letting very little information filter through on the development of its flagship game which should be released in 2025, but some news should delight fans (not necessarily studio employees)…
It’s the end of teleworking for Rockstar employees! This was announced by Jennifer Kolbe, the vice-president of the company, who explains that the developers will have to return to the office for five days a week, in order to give everything for the final stretch of development so that everything is perfect by the time GTA6 is released!
This news should be positive for fans who are eagerly awaiting the most anticipated game of the year (or even the decade)! Even though 2025 is more or less guaranteed as the release year, no date has yet been communicated, and this statement from Jennifer Kolbe is one of the rare clues to the progress of GTA6.
The only clue that fans had until now were the statements of Strauss Zelnick, president of Take-Two Interactive (Rockstar’s parent company) who affirmed that the studio aimed for perfection and preferred to take its time in order to present to the world the best game possible. A statement which on the contrary suggested that we would still have to wait some time before being able to play GTA6. Jennifer Kolbe’s words, on the contrary, seem to provide a little nuance by demonstrating that Rockstar still intends to respect its schedule and that the game should not be delayed until a later year…
