GTA 5 and Elden Ring could soon be playable via Xbox Cloud Gaming

Several games that are not part of the Xbox Game Pass offer may soon be playable via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

As Twitter user Knoelbelbroet discovered, are or were on the pages of GTA 5, Elden Ring and Soul Hackers 2 See cloud gaming beta logos in the Xbox store.

Corresponds to Microsoft’s plans

Earlier this year, Microsoft confirmed plans to let Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers play games via the cloud that are not in the Game Pass library.

At the time, there was talk that this function should come this year. Can we expect an announcement regarding gamescom?

It’s definitely not out of the question, we might find out more regarding it at the latest at the trade fair. And given Microsoft’s plans, it doesn’t appear to be just a bug in the Xbox store either.

Xbox Cloud Gaming currently only supports controllers and the touchscreen on mobile devices, but in the future Microsoft also wants to support keyboards and mice.
