A leader of Phu Quoc City People’s Committee said that he would send functional forces to find out and encourage these people not to hold signs asking for money because this is a bad image in the tourist city.
According to him, in August 2017, in Phu Quoc, there was a Russian girl sitting in meditation asking for money on the sidewalk of Tran Phu street.
“These cases are very difficult to handle because there are foreign elements, we cannot put them in social protection facilities. If foreign tourists ask for money, we can only find out and explain that this is a bad image, and advise them not to do it,” the leader of the Phu Quoc City People’s Committee said. Zing.
