The National Police in Huíla recently dismantled a group of criminals who were involved in armed robberies in homes, whose last action was marked by the sexual rape of two younger sisters, while they were taking their parents hostage, in the city of Huíla. Lubango
The group, made up of 12 members, aged between 19 and 35, committed robberies inside homes using AKM-type firearms, during the months of November and December last year. .
This group of criminals preferred the neighborhoods of Nambambe, Lucrécia and Dack Doy, on the outskirts of the capital of Huila, with household appliances being bottles of butane gas, mattresses, computers, telephones, as well as money. The group’s last action took place in the Lucrécia neighborhood, where four of the 12 members entered a residence and sexually abused two minors.
According to the father, who prefers not to be identified, the leader of the gang, already in the couple’s room, demanded that gold and money be handed over to them, under strong death threats with guns pointed at their heads. One of them even put a knife in his wife’s genitals while demanding that she hand over money.
“It was two o’clock in the morning when they entered our house and I don’t even know how. They hit me on the head and inserted a knife into my wife’s genitals. It was a moment of terror. My wife gave the money she had in the baby’s briefcase, and they took it,” she described. The head of the family says that the criminals’ action lasted an hour.
On the other hand, he revealed that he only realized that his daughters were being abused by their screams. In view of the horrors experienced, our interlocutor salutes the foresight of the National Police in arresting the criminals, and therefore appeals to the bodies that administer justice in the province of Huíla, to do justice for the crimes committed by these individuals.
Baby-G confirms that he raped his two sisters
The group of criminals who took advantage of the month of December to terrorize many Huila families, particularly in the municipality of Lubango, is led by a 31-year-old national citizen, identified only as Bebê-G. Bebê-G has been involved in numerous crimes with the police, particularly robberies involving firearms in homes and warehouses. After being arrested, the leader of the group of criminals confessed to committing the crime of assault and rape of the two minors aged 15 and 13.
“Practically the robbery took place, what is said regarding the rape is true, it was two girls, I don’t remember the day it all happened” he said. In the Nambambe neighborhood, specifically in the Mutundo market, Bebê-G led a robbery at one of Grupo Carrinho’s warehouses, where they stole 26 million Kwanzas. According to the section head of the Criminal Illicit Investigation Department of the Lubango Municipal Command, Alfredo Kelson Tchissenda, to enter the aforementioned warehouse, the criminals had the help of a former employee there who gave them all the information. “They had contact with one of the guards who no longer works at that company, they captured the security guards, tied them up and gagged them,” he revealed.
Recruitment of women in the group
To carry out their criminal actions, the group of criminals also recruited women aged between 19 and 33. These women, most of whom had less favorable living conditions, had the mission of hiding the group leader when he was being sought by the Police, as well as guarding the weapons used in these practices. In total there are four women, girlfriends of the leader, and one of them had the task of receiving and selling the stolen goods. One of the young women, aged 19, identified as Nadi, mother of a child under one year old and one month pregnant, was detained by DIIP personnel when she intended to travel to the province of Namibe with two firearms inside from a chest.
