Residents of Tel Aviv rushed to grocery stores amid the armed conflict with the Gaza Strip.
In local stores, people are buying up such basic products as bread, cereals, eggs and milk en masse, reports RIA “Novosti”. A number of retail outlets have already begun selling goods in limited quantities, for example, no more than one carton of milk per customer.
According to shop owners and sellers, residents of Tel Aviv have recently started buying food for future use in a panic.
Recall that the Palestinian movement Hamas attacked Israel with rockets on the morning of October 7. In response, Israel announced the launch of the counter-terrorism Operation Iron Swords in the Gaza Strip.
