Grizzlies, Jenkins on Zach Edey: “We will develop his versatility”

After a season that saw i Memphis Grizzlies be cut early from the fight for the noble positions of the Western Conference, the draft NBA. In a year lacking in talent if compared to recent years, the coaching team Taylor Jenkins he chose Zach Edey. Edey made just two appearances in the Summer League due to two ankle injuries. Yet, everyone immediately realized how the Purdue center could truly be the revelation of this Draft, after registering 14 points, 15 rebounds, 4 blocks and one assist in his debut and six points and three rebounds in his second game.

Numbers that also impressed his teammates. Ja Morant had nice words about him saying: “ He will be Rookie of the year and it will be so very easily.”
