This weekend the glamor festival Coachella in California enters its second round. The star musician Grimes would certainly have imagined her performance on the first weekend to be different. Instead of a spectacular show, she put on a performance that leaves you a bit perplexed. Should you laugh or worry now? Decide for yourself.

Grimes, who is Elon Musk’s ex-partner and has a son with him with the famous name X Æ A-12, apparently had “significant technical problems” with her set. At least that’s what she said. Several times. This resulted in “all tracks being played at double speed”. Instead of just continuing to play, she tried – once more several times – to explain the problem. It is complicated. Very complicated. It is a very complicated technology.

But Grimes also knew the solution to the problem. She just had to do the math to match the speed of the tracks. But arithmetic is not her strong point. She also let her audience know this several times. In the end, nothing held Grimes back. She started screaming wildly around the stage.
