In an Italian-style restaurant in Banqiao, New Taipei City, today (1st) night, it was reported that the owner and his wife, surnamed Zhu and You, were found by employees at work, and they were both lying down in the dining area of the restaurant. At the scene, the gas concentration at the scene was measured as high as 2000PPM. When they entered the restaurant to rescue the two people, they found that they had lost their breathing and heartbeat. It is understood that this Italian-style restaurant is located in the alleys of Minquan Road, Banqiao District. After the 28-year-old aunt of the boss surnamed Zhu bought the house with a loan, he handed it over to his grandson and his 25-year-old daughter-in-law You surnamed Sun to open an Italian-style restaurant. For more than a year, it has gained a little reputation locally, and the store is well-furnished, which is very popular among young people.

The 22-year-old restaurant employee, surnamed Shen, returned home following the store closed this followingnoon. When he returned to work at 6:00 p.m., he found a strong smell of gas wafting from the store. On the floor of the dining area, You Nv was lying on the seat in the dining area. Both of them lost their breathing and heartbeat. They were so frightened that they hurriedly called 119 for help.

The New Taipei City Fire Department was reported that when they dispatched a large number of people and vehicles to the scene, they found that there was no fire and smoke at the scene. The gas concentration at the scene was measured to be over 2000PPM. They immediately put on an oxygen mask, opened the oxygen bottle and went to the restaurant for rescue. Two people were rescued. It was found that both of them had lost their breathing and heartbeat. They were urgently sent to the Taipei Hospital of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and Yadong Hospital for rescue. However, following the rescue, they were both declared dead at 8 o’clock in the evening. Work to remove the leaked gas.
