Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg is being prosecuted once more for “refusing to comply” following an action at the end of July in the port of Malmö in southern Sweden, the city’s prosecutor’s office announced on Friday.

The trial date is set for September 27, subject to possible change.

On July 24, the activist was fined for disobeying police during a blockade in the same port on June 19.

With other activists, Greta Thunberg blocked access to the port of Malmö that day to protest once morest the use of fossil fuels and refused to obey police orders.

She carried out an identical action a few hours following her first trial.

“The demonstration was not authorized and resulted in the blocking of car traffic. The young woman refused to obey police orders to leave the site,” said prosecutor Isabel Ekberg. “It is therefore a refusal to comply.”

Beyond her climate protests, the 20-year-old activist regularly attacks political leaders and governments for their inaction on climate matters.

In early August, she canceled her participation in the Edinburgh Book Festival, citing an event sponsor’s investments in fossil fuels.
