AUSTRALIAN singer Grentperez is back with a new single and music video titled Room For You, which pairs him with fellow Filipino American singer Lyn Lapid.
The music video for their first collaborative single radiates a warm aura through scenes of Grentperez and Lapid walking around the city of Los Angeles as they sing to each other.
“Single Room For You is a song for long distance relationships of any kind including friendships, family members, and also our lovers. The song talks about maintaining our connection with our loved ones even though distance separates us. I feel connected to this song while I’m on tour. Even though we’re not together, they will always be in my heart,” said Grentperez.
The uniqueness of Grentperez and Lapid is heard throughout the song which successfully combines the vocal colors of both of them on top of beautiful lyrics and musical production.

Room For You joins Grentperez’s catalogue of beloved music from around the world, including the EPs When We Were Younger and Demo(s) About Love, and his bossa nova-tinged debut single Cherry Wine.
Following the release of Room For You, Grentperez music lovers will soon be spoiled with the presence of his new works that will soon be released.
Lapid also shared his impressions of collaborating with Grentperez.
“Working with Grant was a blast. We wrote Room For You together and that was one of the most memorable writing sessions for me. He’s so energetic and talented. Even when we were driving around Los Angeles while shooting the video, it felt like a road trip. It’s such a wholesome and refreshing song, and the video really encapsulates that,” Lapid said. (Z-1)
