Great novelty to start this year 2023 at the Granada Cinema with the Clap, a film club for 15-25 year olds which will open from January 28 at 4 p.m. At the initiative of this project, Romuald, ex-student in Cinema and Audiovisual License at the Jean Jaurès University of Toulouse and cinephile, who joined the association as a civic service. He had the idea of creating a film club to “involve young people and give them a voice. For me, nothing will replace the unique and collective experience of the cinema and it is important to defend it in the face of the rise in power of SVOD platforms.” Romuald’s mission is to set up Le Clap, to make a pre-selection and to animate the exchanges.
The role of young people will also be to share their passion, give their opinion, write reviews and recommendations via social networks.
At the rate of a meeting every month, the idea is to explore different themes and styles around a wide choice of films, conducive to exchange and discussion between spectators. The young people select the films which will be programmed every Saturday followingnoon during screenings open to all.
Conditions? Be between 15 and 25 years old, be available once a month during scheduled meetings, share on social networks (texts, videos, podcast, visual arts, etc.). go to the movies 3 times a week!
