“Today’s match was not the result I wanted,” said Gregoria, quoted from PP PBSI’s short statement.

Even though he was superior and found his rhythm in the second game, the 2024 Paris Olympics bronze medalist felt that he made a lot of his own mistakes in the final game.

“In the second game I felt like I tried enough to win, but then again I made a lot of my own mistakes. I couldn’t minimize the errors,” said Gregoria.

“You can see from the opponent, he is a defensive type player, he is not a deadly type of player, so a lot of opponents got points from my mistakes today,” he added.

Gregoria also admitted that he was disappointed because his opponent got easy points from his series of mistakes.

“That’s what I feel is very disappointing for me and I have to fix it immediately,” said Gregoria.
