After more than six weeks away from Fox News, Greg Gutfeld is set to make his triumphant return to the network on Monday, January 6, 2025.

A Fox News representative confirmed to LateNighter that Gutfeld will resume hosting duties on both his eponymous show,Gutfeld!,and the popular panel program,the Five.
Welcoming Baby Mira
GutfeldS absence from the airwaves sparked speculation in early december. The mystery was solved when the host released a statement announcing the birth of his first child, a baby girl named Mira, with his wife Elena Moussa.
“She has Elena’s lovely eyes and my rock-hard abs,” Gutfeld quipped in the statement, which was shared on both his shows. ”We have been hard at work teaching her three languages and putting her through a rigorous workout routine.”
He also took to Twitter to thank fans for their well wishes, saying, “See, that’s how you keep a secret. thanks to all the nice words! See ya in a few!”
Ratings Juggernaut on the Rise
while Gutfeld was on paternity leave, Gutfeld! continued with guest hosts Kat Timpf, Tyrus, and tom Shillue filling in.Since its premiere in April 2021,Gutfeld! has become a ratings powerhouse for Fox News.
According to year-end Nielsen ratings, Gutfeld! saw meaningful growth in 2024, averaging 2,500,000 total viewers nightly—a 35% increase from the previous year. Among the coveted 25-54 demo, viewership also surged by 33% to an average of 355,000 viewers per night.
These remarkable figures make Gutfeld! the most-watched program on cable TV at 10pm ET and the top-rated cable news show among viewers aged 25-54.
Busy Year Ahead
Gutfeld has a packed schedule for 2025. In addition to his hosting duties and fatherhood,he’s also scheduled for a dozen tour dates across the country.
