Green and white joy at Grimsta – Hammarby beat Brommapojkarna in the Stockholm derby

Hammarby did the job at Grimsta and defeated BP 2-0.
The goals were scored by Touré and Erabi.

During Saturday there was a Stockholm derby in the Allsvenskan. Hammarby traveled north and headed to Grimsta IP for a match once morest IF Brommapojkarna.

BP came from a 1–0 away win once morest Kalmar FF and placed in tenth place in the series. Hammarby lost by the same numbers at home once morest IFK Göteborg last time. Bajen was in sixth place following 14 rounds.

Brommapojkarna lined up with exactly the same team as last time once morest KFF.

Hammarby’s Pavle Vagic was missing from the match squad following an overload. The centre-back was replaced by Ibrahima Fofana. Meanwhile, new signing Warner Hahn took a direct place in the starting eleven, following Oliver Dovin left for Coventry City on Friday. Hammarby captain Nahir Besara was missing and was replaced by Jusef Erabi.

The match started at 17:30 in 25-degree heat and it was a rather pleasant start to the match with full speed from both goals.

Few chances with relaxed play in the opening, but in the 17th minute Hammarby created pressure and Minnesota acquisition Eriksson showed weight in the box, but no debut goal from the center back in Hammarby that time.

In the 28th minute, Deniz Gül responded with a fine performance when he tricked a defender and got a nice shot from outside the penalty area, but the ball was wide.

In the 37th minute, Hammarby’s new goalkeeper Hahn presented himself when, via touch on Timossi Andersson’s shot, he still managed to save and also grab the ball. Tricky situation but he solved it well, Hahn.
