Greek media “In-beom Hwang signed a 3-year contract with Olympiacos + 1 million euros per year”

As national midfielder Hwang In-beom (26) is regarding to join Olympiacos, the first division of Greek professional football, local media even mentioned the terms of the contract.
On the 25th (local time), the online version of the Greek sports newspaper FOS TON SPOR said, “Hwang In-beom wants to finish the transfer to Olympiacos at 12:30 pm on the 26th (6:30 pm Korean time on the 26th). We will arrive in Greece.”
He added, “It is almost certain that Hwang In-beom will sign a three-year contract and his annual salary will exceed 1 million euros (regarding 1.34 billion won).”
The media said, “For Hwang In-beom, the possibility of playing in the UEFA Champions League played an important role in his transfer. He also explained the background behind Hwang In-beom’s decision to join Olympiacos.
Olympiacos has won the Greek first division title 47 times, the most in history, including winning three consecutive seasons in the last three seasons.
After winning the regular league championship in the 2021-2022 season, he participated in the second qualifying round of the 2022-2023 season of the UEFA Champions League and is competing with Maccabi Haifa (Israel) to advance to the third qualifying round.
Hwang In-beom, who played for Rubin Kazan, Russia, obtained temporary free agent status in the followingmath of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and returned to the K-League last April following signing a three-month short-term contract with FC Seoul.
This is in accordance with special rules that have allowed FIFA to temporarily leave the league to protect foreign players and coaches playing in Russia.
After FIFA decided to temporarily suspend contracts with foreign players active in Russia and Ukraine until June 2023, Hwang In-beom extended his contract with Seoul in the middle of this month.
