During the conversation, the two leaders discussed the prospects for deepening bilateral relations, based on the strategic partnership they adopted in their Joint Declaration during Mr. Modi’s official visit to Athens in August 2023, as well as for further strengthening cooperation, especially in the area of investments.
According to newsbeast, Mr Kyriakos Mitsotakis informed her prime minister of India about Greece’s intention to open two more consulates in India in a short period of time, in Mumbai and Bangalore.
The cooperation of the two countries was also discussed in the context of Greece’s term as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council during the period 2025-2026.
