A first store with an area of 5,000 m2 will open its doors at 4th quarter 2023. Le groupe Great Way already takes care of 80 stores of world-renowned brands in the textile & sports sectors in the Algerian zone and has the largest industrial and logistics hub in the country (12,000 m3 storage).
Thanks to this partnership between Great Way and Auchan Retail, Algeria becomes the 14th
country of establishment of the regional distribution group and the 3th
on the African continent, following Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire. Present in Senegal since 2015, Auchan is the country’s leading food retailer, with 37 stores, a merchant site, a drive-thru and a home delivery service. The installation in Côte d’Ivoire, much more recent – 2022 – has 13 points of sale, a delivery service and a B to B service.
