“Sidoarjo as a buffer for Surabaya City certainly requires strategic housing and has adequate facilities,” said Indra Syahruzza, Production and Marketing Director of PT Adhi Persada Properti (APP). Therefore, his party is targeting the Surabaya market and its surroundings by developing 68 landed housing units on 3.5 hectares of land in the Taman Dhika Sidoarjo City area.
Taman Dhika Sidoarjo City is a residential area developed by the state-owned company subsidiary PT Adhi Karya since 2013. This area has a total land area of 28 ha and 85% of the development has been completed.
Until now, the total units that have been developed in Taman Dhika Sidoarjo City are 1,012 units or equivalent to 80% of the total existing units. According to the initial plan, 1,268 houses will be built in this area.
Taman Dhika Sidoarjo City Project Manager, Damar Yudha Pawitan, added that the last cluster is targeted at millennials, young families, and the people of Sidoarjo, and is not limited to the people of South or East Surabaya. He believes that the development of the Mahameru Cluster will be absorbed by the market, because Sidoarjo has good connectivity with big cities, such as Surabaya, Malang, and the surrounding areas.
