Great news for Pakistani students, Microsoft will provide certification at home

Microsoft in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan will facilitate students to get Microsoft certification at home.

In this regard, an agreement has been reached between HEC and Microsoft, under which 2000 students registered for this facility will be provided free of cost certification in the first phase. This initiative is considered to be a very important step in bridging the gap between education and employment. As a result, students will be able to acquire professional learning skills at home during the pandemic.

Microsoft and HEC have been committed to promoting IT in the higher education sector for the past decade. The recent agreement between the two will be applicable to private and public universities and under this, the youth will be provided multiple opportunities for technical training as per global standards.

For this certification, students are taught technical skills through a regular curriculum that includes topics in computer science, data science, and IT infrastructure. The MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate) and MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) certifications in this program are helpful in validating technical skills and career advancement.

HEC affiliated universities will participate in this program in partnership with Microsoft Certiport. The Azure Cloud Platform forum will be used to optimize the exam experience for certification. Every year, 12,000 exams are conducted worldwide through this platform.
