Graz99ers test against EC Bad Nauheim – Moser Medical Graz99ers – Pure Icehockey Graz

The Moser Medical Graz99ers will meet EC Bad Nauheim next Friday at 7:15 p.m. in the Merkur Eisstadion. Only subscription customers have access to this game, admission is via the canteen on the north side. on 99ers.at a live ticker will be provided.

Another intensive week of training lies behind the Moser Medical Graz99ers. Head coach Pennerborn and his support team mainly worked on the new system. “We continued to work hard on our system and put intensive ice sessions behind us. Some things have to be automated first, and further details were discussed,” says defender Michael Kernberger. The first test match once morest Banska Bystrica was narrowly lost 2:3. The head coach was not dissatisfied: “In the first 25 to 27 minutes you might see the first structures on the ice and the performance was okay. But we still have a lot of work ahead of us.”

Next Friday, August 19th, 2022, DEL2 Club Bad Nauheim will be guesting with familiar faces at the Merkur Eisstadion. Harry Lange, an ex-99ers crack, is on the bench and ex-Caps goalscorer Taylor Vause, Jerry Pollastrone (VSV, Vienna, Bozen) and Jordan Hickmott (VSV, Linz) can be seen on the ice. Head coach Lange’s team only dropped out in the semi-finals last season, so they will definitely be a good test opponent for our 99ers.

The people of Graz want to continue to internalize the new system and take the next steps. The coaching staff will also put new lines on the ice and test different options.

Try-Out Jonas Kutzer
Defenseman Jonas Kutzer was on a try-out with Moser Medical Graz99ers last week. Head coach Pennerborn and the coaching staff saw good approaches. The young Austrian will now start the season at EHC Lustenau and will continue to be watched by the Graz99ers.
