Graz99ers sign Sam Antonitsch – Moser Medical Graz99ers – Pure Icehockey Graz

The Moser Medical Graz99ers have signed another Austrian for the coming season. Sam Antonitsch is moving from the Dornbirn Bulldogs to the 99ers.

With Sam Antonitsch, the Graz99ers bring another Austrian into the squad. The 26-year-old forward spent the last two years with the Dornbirn Bulldogs in the ICE Hockey League and was able to develop strongly.

In the 2021-2022 season, Antonitsch had 6 goals and 5 assists in 46 games for the Bulldogs. The native of Vienna is characterized above all by an aggressive style of play, which is always looking for the way in front of the goal and also does the dirty work.

The new addition to the Graz99ers is currently on a honeymoon with his Marica. The two “only” got married last year on May 21, 2021 due to Corona and then this year on May 21, 2022 they made up for the church wedding. Sam Antonitsch is expected in Graz by August at the latest.

Statement Sam Antonitsch: “Graz has been a top address in Austrian ice hockey for years and I’ve only heard good things regarding the organization. As a player, I want to develop further in the coming season and be an important part of the team. And I hope that my style of play will help us have a successful season.”
