GravoMark launches Wi-Fi-enabled metal marking machine

Expomafe in SP presents metal marking machine with wi-fi connection and cell phone operation
Equipment is one of GravoMark’s launches and will be presented to the public for the first time during the Expomafe event that will take place in São Paulo.

Equipment works via cell phone: wi-fi, battery and compact style

The digital acceleration that accompanies people’s daily lives in their most diverse activities is also present in industrial parks. The market has been appropriating robots, for example, and high technology to improve machines and equipment, refining production and delivering higher quality materials at the end that increasingly meet consumer demand.
In May, the French Buddy machine, by Technomark, distributed nationally by GravoMark, enters the portfolio to become another option for the engraving and industrial marking sector.

The GravoMark equipment works via cell phone, has Wi-Fi, has intuitive software, runs on battery power, is lightweight and compact.

“It’s the second generation of a machine that’s already on the market, but because it still uses a cord and plug, it has a different performance”, explains GravoMark’s distribution manager, Juliano Pereira de Moura.
The version replaced the use of the industrial tablet. To determine the message that will be engraved on the metal, it is enough to download an application and the user will be able to compose the message. Before, the programming software was on the tablet. The switch to the telephone device provides for a reduction of up to 25% in the final price of the machine.

Micropuncturing

Updated Buddy is a micropunching machine for marking metal in small parts. “The operation is by cell phone. You create operation commands to trace the product. It is a practically 100% autonomous machine”, stresses Juliano. The connection is maintained even at a distance of up to 100 meters, depending on the communication conditions in the factory environment. “The information will be in the palm of your hand, all the time”.

The machine has just been launched in France and, in April, it will be presented to the world market. The new product will be distributed throughout Brazil and will be able to be seen up close in May, during the International Machine-Tools and Industrial Automation Fair (ExpoMafe), one of the biggest events for the metalworking sector in all of Latin America, which takes place in São Paulo, between the 9th and 13th of May. Technomark is recognized in the market, in its segment, for its recording quality, and the arrival of Buddy reinforces the potential for adapting products to market demand.

Watching the Chinese

“The market is growing, with a lot of incentive. This year Brazil is receiving a large Chinese car manufacturer and this shows that the country is very well seen abroad. The car model requires marking of almost 95%. This scenario causes the economy to mobilize and, in terms of marking parts, we have all the appropriate equipment”, underlines the manager, evaluating the possibilities of using GravoMark products.

Metal applications is the core of GravoMark

The company will take a robust portfolio to São Paulo, so that visitors can experience and fully understand the solutions offered by the company. Gravotech products, a brand focused on machinery for micropuncturing and laser engraving, will also be available to the approximately 100,000 visitors expected for the five days of the event.
“Our participation goes beyond the showcase. We want to show you a little more regarding our pillars, which are: sale of equipment, service, sale of spare parts and inputs. We are a company specialized in metal applications and we have different solutions to meet the most different needs”, highlights Juliano.
