A grandma who allegedly refused to babysit her daughter’s baby on less than $20 an hour has been applauded by netizens, with many scolding the mother for her expectations.
“Your mother is under no obligation to take care of YOUR BABY. It’s generous of her to be willing to do it for a fee, and you have the nerve to be mad that she doesn’t do it for free? She has the right to spend her life and her free time as she sees fit, ”responded a user on Reddit, according to what “The Independent” reported on Thursday.
In a post on a Reddit forum, the 29-year-old allegedly posted recently to see if she was in the wrong for asking her mother, a 64-year-old woman, to babysit her baby while she works.
“My mother has been a stay-at-home mom since 1992 and hasn’t worked since. She also told me that if I really wanted this baby, maybe I should have thought regarding staying home like she did to take care of it, while my spouse goes to work and provides for us as a family. “traditional”,” said the woman.
