“His father had disappeared one rainy day.” It was fifteen years ago. Since then, Jérôme has had no news. At the age of 30, he left to cross the United States by train, from Chicago to San Francisco, in search of the memory of this estranged father, who so admired America and the music of Bruce Springsteen.
Near Denver, he planned to attend a “Boss” concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Grand-End is a poignant “road trip” (by rail), in today’s America and in the memories of Switzerland in the 1990s.
