White walls adorned with wooden beams, stone remains of the old inn, scattered boxes, busy workers. Here is an overview of the current work on the La Couronne building site in Sonceboz-Sombeval. Even if the preparations are still in full swing, the project is at the end of the line.
The establishment steeped in history will house the promotion center for the Grand Chasseral brand. An obvious choice of location for the foundation given the geographical location of Sonceboz, in the heart of the region concerned.
Three tenants will be installed in the former inn: Bernese Jura Tourism, Bernese Jura.Bienne and the Bernese Jura Chamber of Public Economy. The latter, for example, is finalizing her move. After 2 years of work, getting to the end of the preparations is a relief for the CEP project manager, Géraldine Berberat.
On September 8, the new Couronne, the Grand Chasseral promotion center, will be inaugurated. The brand’s mission will be to ensure that the regional population also feels at home in Sonceboz-Sombeval. /rick
