Game news Gran Turismo 7: Three surprises land in Sony’s racing game

As promised earlier this week by Kazunori Yamauchi, Gran Turismo 7 will be entitled to a new update. The latter arrives with its share of surprises.
Three additional free cars
On July 25, Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator and producer of the Gran Turismo series, took to Twitter to announce that a new update was going to see the light of day on Grand Touring 7. Today, the latter is closer than ever…
It is therefore accompanied by a trailer punctuated by classical music that we learn that Gran Turismo 7 will be entitled to three new cars, starting with the Porsche 918 Spyder of 2013 which marked the history of the automobile in 2014 since, as a reminder, it won the Gran Turismo trophy.
As we suspected, in addition to Porsche 918 Spyder, players will also be able to add to their garage the Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette Group 5. This 1984 car is a 570 horsepower monster. It was notably seen during the 1983 Touring Car Championship.
Finally, it will also be possible to count on the presence of the Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder from 1954, a car with an atypical design which owes its name to the designer Gioacchino Colombo following he modified it in 1953.
Finally, Gran Turismo 7 also has the right to two new destinations for the “Scapes” photo mode. The first offers you to park your brand new car near Dog Onsen, in Japan, and the second, still in Japan, to explore Tomica Town; an astonishing place to say the least.
Maintenance to be expected?
The arrival of this free update is not smooth. Tomorrow morning, the game will be in maintenance for two short hours, from 8 am French time until 10 am. Once the maintenance is over, players will of course be able to download this new update, simply titled 1.19.
As a reminder, Gran Turismo 7 has been available since March 4, 2022 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
