After Elden Ring last week, it’s the turn of Polyphony Digital’s latest creation to jump on the Friday release slot. The title is not yet on the shelves that the development teams have already mentioned the potential content of future updates which will have the difficult task of feeding the follow-up to Gran Turismo 7. While waiting to get our hands on the wheel , this is what Polyphony Digital envisions.

Fervent car simulation enthusiasts will finally be able to discover the future of the Gran Turismo license. Moreover, this new opus has the heavy double task of pushing back the limits of the franchise while making an eye out for those who still have trouble digesting the disappointment that was Gran Turismo Sport on PS4. According to the first feedback: Polyphony Digital not only accepted the challenge, but also rose to it brilliantly.
On the famous site Metacritic, Grand Touring 7 already panics the counters with a very nice score : a nice additional feat for Sony which thus endows its PlayStation 5shortly following the release of Horizon : Forbidden West, from another compelling exclusive, while more are on the way. Just today we were talking regarding the potential return of iconic franchises and a new game in development at Housemarque.
At any rate, Grand Touring 7 has good arguments to earn its place in the hearts of players, if we are to believe to press reviews. However, if the success is at the rendezvous at the launch, the hardest part remains to perpetuate it but the developers at Polyphony Digital seem to know which way to go.

In a few hours, the most cult of the PlayStation car racing licenses will make a comeback, and if we can expect an opus rich in content, it would seem that the Polyphony Digital teams have kept some on hand in order to properly feed their latest production. The list is nothing surprising in itself, but it has the merit of reassuring players regarding the monitoring of Grand Touring 7and no element seems to have been set aside: so don’t expect to see only new vehicles arriving because Polyphony intends to offer even more customization and even more challenges for the return of Gran Turismo to consoles!
