Graduation Ceremony of the 23rd Higher Defense Course and 57th General Staff Course at the Royal College of Military Education Superior

Kenitra – On High Instructions from His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Chief and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided, on Thursday, at the Royal College of Military Education Superior (CREMS) in Kenitra, the graduation ceremony of the 23rd promotion of the Superior Defense Course and the 57th promotion of the General Staff Course, indicates a press release from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.

Upon his arrival at the Royal College for Higher Military Education, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was greeted by Major General, Inspector General of the FAR and Commander of the Southern Zone, Brigadier General, Director of CREMS and the Colonel-Major, Deputy Commander of the Place de Kénitra, before reviewing a detachment of the Royal Air Forces which paid the honours.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was then greeted by the General of the Army Corps, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, the Senior Officers of the General Staff of the FAR, the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region , the governor of the province of Kenitra, the Dean of the military attachés near the embassies accredited to the Kingdom, and the professors of the teaching body.

On this occasion, Brigadier General, Director of CREMS presented to HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan the annual report of the activities of the Royal College, handed over to His Royal Highness the best research papers of the promotion of the Higher Course of Defense and the CREMS plaque, before announcing the results obtained by the trainee officers.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan then proceeded to the awarding of higher military education certificates with a master’s degree specializing in national defense and staff diplomas respectively to trainee officers of the Higher Course of Defense and the General Staff Course.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan then posed for a souvenir photo with the two outgoing promotions.

The 23rd promotion of the Higher Defense Course and the 57th promotion of the General Staff Course have 285 laureates, including 56 Officers from 24 brotherly and friendly countries of the Kingdom, namely: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Spain, the the State of the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar, and the Republics of Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gabon, Guinea Conakry, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, DR-Congo, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo and Chad.
