According to Veniamin Kondratyev, employment centers play an important role in this, where people are helped to find a job, undergo retraining, and start their own business.
– Every seventh resident of the region out of ten applied finds a job. Last year, 78.5 thousand people were employed. In the current one, we have recorded the lowest unemployment rate in the last seven years – 2.2% of the number of employees, – the governor said.
Last year, Kuban citizens received more than 330,000 services and consultations from the employment service. Almost 6,000 unemployed were trained, 29,000 teenagers worked in their free time.
The Governor noted that in the Krasnodar Territory there is a state program “Promotion of Employment of the Population”. Compared to last year, its funding increased 1.7 times to 2.4 billion rubles. As part of the program, specialists not only help in finding a job, but also provide career guidance, additional professional education, and provide temporary employment.
In addition, the region uses the tools of national projects. So, according to the Demography national project, more than 25 thousand people have completed vocational training since 2019, the press service of the regional administration reports.
