Governor of Trujillo: “We are looking for leaders who finance acts of vandalism”

The governor of Trujillo, Gerardo Márquez, reported that his administration “has controlled” the days of protests in the entity and that is looking for the “leaders” who – in their opinion – finance and incite young people with drugs and money to “commit acts of vandalism”.

The president reported that the Peace Command Post was installed at Police Command No. 20 in the Valera municipality, in which security agencies and other regional justice powers participate, where those arrested for protesting or vandalism will be tried.

«We have set up a court so that via telematics “to hold all trials for those who have violated the Constitution, for those who have incited hatred and have committed acts of vandalism and terrorism in the state of Trujillo.”

Márquez noted that the region has not recorded any material or human losses in the two days of post-election protests.
