The news regarding the provincial president’s hospitalization was known on Friday morning, when he went to the Ramón Carrillo Regional Hospital to undergo a medical study due to a discomfort he was experiencing, which caused the staff to leave him under observation for 48 hours when an ulcerative lesion is detected in the small intestine.
“The patient suffers from an ulcerative lesion in the second portion of the duodenum, which presents a good clinical evolution with stable parameters of blood pressure, heart rate and respiration,” reported the Government of Santiago del Estero when announcing that Zamora will remain housed in the hospital. intermediate therapy area of the medical center located in the capital of Santiago.

Regarding his political career, Zamora obtained re-election for the position of governor in the elections that took place on Sunday, November 14, 2021. Undisputedly, the former candidate accumulated 61.54% of the votes, which demonstrated the citizen support that the political leader of the Civic Front for Santiago would have in the territory.
“We are going to use that support at the polls to defend the interests of the people of Santiago, of our province, because first is our province of Santiago del Estero and then everything else,” said the governor in the speech he gave that night.
