Governor Marcano reopened the Clinical Laboratory at Guaiparo Hospital

The governor of Bolívar state, Ángel Marcano, commented that the spaces of the Guaiparo hospital were inoperative for more than two years.

With the purpose of continuing to guarantee care, health and life to the people, the governor of Bolívar state, Ángel Marcano, reopened this Monday, March 14, the Immunological Clinical Laboratory of the Raúl Leoni Hospital in Guaiparo in the municipality Caroni.

The activity was attended by the first combatant, Yajaira Arocha de Marcano, president of Fundación Social Bolívar (FSB); of the Single Health Authority of the state of Bolívar and president of the Institute of Public Health (ISP), Dr. Manuel Maurera; of the regional government secretary, Ovany Aguirre; the director of the Guaiparo Hospital, Dr. Ahmad Hawi; of the president of the Municipal Council of Caroní, Milagros Marcano; and members of the Regional Executive, accompanied by doctors and nurses.

Governor Ángel Marcano commented that these spaces were almost inoperative for more than two years and “we are giving concrete answers to our families, with science and health, as our brother Nicolás Maduro has guided. There is no doubt that health is getting stronger in the region and we are coming back strong.”

Care, health and life

Dr. Manuel Maurera, Single Health Authority of Bolívar state, assured that in this laboratory they have arterial gases, microbiology tests, blood chemistry, blood culture, urine culture and complete hematology, among other services. “We are working in synergy with our President Nicolás Maduro, with the Minister of People’s Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez, and with Governor Ángel Marcano, who in 100 days of management, has directed all the necessary tasks to advance in the rebirth of health”. the doctor commented.

Dr. Ahmad Hawi, director of the Raúl Leoni Hospital in Guaiparo, thanked on behalf of the medical staff and nurses of this health center, the effort that Governor Ángel Marcano is making to guarantee improvements to each patient.

“We are willing to give our best, so that all citizens are served, this laboratory will have a daily capacity of 300 people, for a total of 1,500 samples,” said Hawi.
