Governor Diego Sinhue calls for openness to constructive and purposeful dialogue to seek meeting points in favor of Guanajuato society.
During this period, the Municipal Income Laws and the State Fiscal Package for 2024 will be analyzed and approved.
Guanajuato, Gto., September 25, 2023.- The Governor of the State, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, attended the installation and opening session of the First Ordinary Period of Sessions of the Third Year of Constitutional Exercise of the XLV Legislature of the State Congress.
“The beginning of the third year of legal exercise of this Legislature is an opportunity to reaffirm the commitment of the Executive Branch to respect the division of powers. Also, to express our willingness and openness to constructive and purposeful dialogue, which allows us to find the best options to contribute to the comprehensive development of our beloved Guanajuato.
“Beyond partisan belonging and identity, we are moved by love for Guanajuato to seek meeting points, coincidences in the great task of taking the state to the next level in its development,” said the State President.
The current period begins today, September 25, during which the main tasks of the Legislature will be the analysis and approval of the Municipal Revenue Laws and the State Fiscal Package for 2024.
“I invite you to continue working with high vision, as you have done during your administration, providing a legal framework that strengthens competitiveness and helps the entity to continue advancing on the path of progress and development,” said the Governor, Diego. Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, during his speech.
This September 25, the elected Board of Directors led the installation and opening session. Deputy Miguel Ángel Salim Alle assumed the presidency of the Board of Directors for the current period.
The new President of Congress is part of the commissions: United Education, Science and Technology and Culture and Economic and Social Development; United States of Governance and Constitutional Points and Economic and Social Development; Public Safety and Communications; United Nations of Urban Development and Public Works and Environment; Tourism Commission; Economic and Social Development; and Urban Development and Public Works.
Present at the Solemn Session were Deputies from all parliamentary fractions and Ma. Rosa Medina Rodríguez, President of the Supreme Court of Justice of the State of Guanajuato and the Council of the Judiciary.
